This is the closest I've ran to a real 10K. It corresponds to a 10K time of about 54:17 if I'm fudging correctly. That is what I will plug in to the pacing calculator anyway.

WOW! this run is a turning point for me. 2nd longest, and run at the fastest pace. And I even ran faster as the run goes on. I can't say for sure I could keep this pace for a whole marathon, but I could have run it a lot farther than 4 miles I think.

Of course, I have to run a 7min 38sec/mile pace to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Am I that crazy? We'll have to see how the runs continue.

My first morning run. This felt great. And even with a stop for a light, mile 2 was run at a good pace. And the last 2 miles were uphill, and I had no problem. It's getting there.

This run is the longest I've ever run! And it's the first, and shortest of our long runs. My pace was only a little slower than last Thanksgiving at a longer distance, so I'm pretty happy about it.

I was hoping to do my first solo run in Carlsbad, but the traffic was so bad, I gave up, got off the freeway, and ran in Solana Beach. Unfortunately, I had to run back and forth to find a lit path I could run at night. And my pace got slower, even though I felt like I was pushing myself.
